THE Queen Mother is trying to fend off the effects of old age by having controversial "ozone injections".
The regular jabs increase oxygen levels in the 100-year-old's blood and the treatment's supporters say it removes toxins and rejuvenates the whole body.
Ozone therapy, in which liquidised ozone is pumped into the bloodstream, has been used since World War One in alternative treatments for everything from battle injuries to cancer. It is also used by HIV patients.
But many doctors disapprove - and in some parts of the world the therapy is banned.
