I would make fun of them this morning, if only their cause weren't so well-intentioned.
I've never heard a single song of Marilyn Manson's, and I wouldn't campaign a minute to keep him out of Denver. I think of it this way:
If my kid were so enraptured by the nonsense this rock personality puts out that he one day turned homicidal, well, I haven't done my job.
Let this freaky gentleman in the long fingernails, leather bustiers and tight pants do whatever he will in Denver. Attempts to keep him out only give him increased notoriety and power. Your kids are in no danger.
