A Grant County grand jury has issued a report saying Jailer Louie Jump should implement changes to make his new jail in Williamstown more efficient, safe and accountable.
The grand jury, in a seven-page report, did not find any criminal wrongdoing by Jump, who oversaw a $7 million expansion last year that increased the jail's bed capacity from 28 to more than 300.
However, the grand jury, which had been investigating Jump for several months,
did have a list of recommendations that it asked Jump to address immediately, including:
