May 14--Evansville, Ind.-based Community Telephone, which has a Paducah operation, has changed its name to Cinergy Communications because of a new affiliation with Cinergy Corp.
The new name better represents the Evansville firm as an expanding regional telecommunications provider, said Scott Adams, Cinergy Communications marketing director. He said Community Telephone tended to reflect being simply a phone-service provider.
