As an editor in the Vance Publishing Industrial Division for the last three years, my efforts with previous RED BOOKS have consisted of editing charts and listings and helping out with last-second double and triple checking of Web sites, phone numbers, etc., as the dreaded deadline drew near.
Completing this year's Wood & Wood Products' 38th Annual RED BOOK Buyer's Specification Guide, as RED BOOK Editor, I realize how valuable those efforts really are. I find it necessary to bring those from behind the scenes up front and give credit where credit is due.
