SONS OF STEEL TO TOUR EAST COAST.(CITY LIFE)

The Sons of Steel, one of Greensboro's most popular groups, isn't local anymore.

This fall, they'll hit the road to perform at least 15 times a month, in many places east of the Mississippi River. They'll push their debut CD, "Outta the Blue," and try to grab the attention of an agent, a big label and an even bigger TV network, The Disney Channel.

Many groups wanting big-time exposure follow similar plans. But Sons of Steel is a bit different. See them once and you realize their uniqueness right away, especially when you notice two band members climbing onto stools just so they can play their steel drums.
