NOW IS THE TIME TO PLANT BULBS.(HOME LIFE)

If you want to brighten your landscape next spring, consider planting bulbs now. Bulbs such as tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, which bloom in the spring and early summer, should be planted in late October or November.

If you've never planted bulbs before, I'd suggest daffodils. They are among the most dependable bulbs, and even beginners can dig a hole, drop one in and have flowers next spring. For those of you bored with daffodils, try spicing things up with Fritillaria, Allure, Puschkinia and Leucojum. These are also wonderful spring bulbs and will help you personalize your plantings.
