May 16--For six months each year, Kim Mascheroni-Kieler visits tiny villages in remote sections of Bali, Tibet, Nepal and Indonesia and other parts of the world to meet with native artisans and craftspeople.
The owner of Kim3 International Furnishings, Mascheroni-Kieler is on the lookout for intriguing furnishings and accessories, such as exotic Tibetan chests and 14th-century Buddhas, that she can bring back to her shops in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Beverly Hills, Carmel and San Francisco.
