How weakly "The Sopranos" sings to the soul when the richly resonant "Anne Frank" competes for our attention.
On Sunday, while the season finale of the drama about a Mob family premieres on HBO, an extraordinary television miniseries begins on ABC. There is no comparing "The Sopranos" and "Anne Frank," although the medium and the prime-time slot are common denominators.
