It's easy to dismiss Tom Green and his abundant brood as a renegade relic of some distant patriarchal past.
Living as he does with five wives, 25 children _ four more on the way, he boasts _ and a chip on his shoulder the size of the Wasatch Peaks, no wonder this guy delights in flouting convention.
Most of the 30,000 or so polygamists in Utah don't strut their stuff on national television, or open up their crowded homes to inquisitive photographers. But Tom Green has done that so audaciously that he goaded a prosecutor to meet him in a county court this week.
