Comair, a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, is to lay off a further 400 of its 2,000 non-striking employees due to an ongoing strike by the carrier's pilots.
The airline will also sell 20 jet aircraft in an attempt to reduce daily losses caused by the strike to USD1.5-2m. The strike is currently costing about USD4m per day in lost revenue, which amounts to about USD208m since the strike began on 26 March, The Associated Press ...
