A growing bottom line is taking center stage at Everett's Center for the Performing Arts where after two seasons Pied Piper Presents ticket sales have jumped from $88,000 to $216,000.
Pied Piper's parent company, Village Theatre, is also enjoying growing popularity and ticket sales in Everett.
"In our first year, we had about 10,000 people come through last season we had about 24,000 admissions," said Brenda Stonecipher, executive director at Pied Piper Presents, a non-profit theater company she started in 1998. The company is projecting $250,000 for the 2000-2001 season which ends in May. "Next season we plan to do some shows in our educational series, ...
