As California remains entrenched in an energy crisis, Baja California is poised to be a major source of power in the future.
Power companies like San Diego-based Sempra Energy are investing hundreds of millions of dollars in power plants and infrastructure in the Mexican state with the plans of selling power to both the Mexican government and U.S. consumers.
