The explosion of color that accompanies the change to cooler weather may be a little late this year, but at least the maple trees are developing their familiar hues.

Like many of the downtown commuters who pass it daily, a lofty landmark is running late. It's trying to catch up on color. Autumn, after all, is almost half over.
