US BIOCHEMICAL AND HARVARD UNIVERSITY FILE PATENT INFRINGEMENT SUIT
AGAINST PHARMACIA AB AND FOUR SUBSIDIARIES
NEWARK, N.J., July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- United States Biochemical Corporation (USB) of Cleveland and Harvard University today filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Pharmacia AB (NASDAQ: PHABY) in U.S. District Court in New Jersey. In addition to the parent corporation, the suit names four defendants: one of the Swedish pharmaceutical giant's Scandinavia-based corporations and three U.S. subsidiaries, including Piscataway, N.J.-based Pharmacia Inc. (NASDAQ: PHARMY), its U.S. headquarters.
