DADC BREAKS GROUND FOR PLANT EXPANSION
Sony USA Subsidiary Increases CD Manufacturing Capacity
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. July 31, /PRNewswire/ -- Digital Audio Disc Corp. today broke ground on a major expansion that will enable it to increase CD output and begin videodisc production in early 1990.
The 58,000-square foot addition to the Sony USA subsidiary's plant was spurred by growing demand for compact discs and heightened consumer interest in videodiscs, said James A. Frische, DADC president.
