OAK BROOK, Ill., July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- GTE Airfone Inc. has signed a new contract with America West Airlines (NASDAQ: AWAL) to equip the airline's fleet of 757s and several 737s with the Seatfone(TM) system. The agreement follows a successful test of the system aboard seven America West 757 jetliners.
