KANSAS CITY _ I'm not sure anyone believes Ted Goin really shot a 64 on Friday afternoon during the first round of the TD Waterhouse Championship at Tiffany Greens Golf Club. Not even Ted Goin.
Golf is certainly a game that humbles its participants, but I've never witnessed the degree of humility Goin showed after scorching the course at 8 under par.
"This is a position I've never been in before," Goin said when asked whether he could continue to stay atop the leader board the rest of the weekend. "Frankly, I don't know how to respond yet. We'll see."
