It's official: Nordstrom will not open at the Cherry Creek shopping center.
At least ``not for the foreseeable future,'' said John Simon, senior vice president of development for mall-owner Taubman Co.
Simon called the the deal ``dead.''
The expense of meeting the requirements of neighborhood groups concerned about the development - and moving the newly renovated Safeway store - proved too great, Simon said.
