I've always believed they railroaded Lisl Auman. I still do. And what remains true now, as it was long ago in my old neighborhood, is if a police officer gets shot or injured, someone's going to pay.
It is the reason Lisl Auman is doing a life-without-parole stretch. She ran with fools and cowards. This, children - as my parents would say, should be a lesson to you. Be careful of the people you choose as friends, for they cause as much grief as any enemy.
So, of course, I was at the rally they held for her the other day on the west steps of the state Capitol. It is, I believe, a good and truly amazing thing for some 400 ...
