INTERNATIONAL RESCUE COMMITTEE ASSISTS YOUNG CHESS CHAMP

NEW YORK, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert P. DeVecchi, executive director of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), said at a New York press conference jointly sponsored by IRC and the American Chess Foundation today that Gata Kamsky's asylum request is "genuine and well- founded."
