NexMed, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXM), a developer of innovative treatments for sexual dysfunction, today announced that it has initiated a Phase 2 clinical study with Femprox(TM), a topical treatment under development for female sexual arousal disorder ("FSAD"). The Phase 2 study is randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, and designed to investigate the efficacy and safety of the Femprox(TM) cream in approximately 110 pre-menopausal women diagnosed with FSAD.
