Corixa Corporation (Nasdaq: CRXA), a developer of immunotherapeutics, Seattle, has announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued the company patents covering certain of its discoveries potentially useful in the diagnosis and treatment of Babesia microti (B. microti) and Ehrlichia infections, as well as claims covering the use of certain gene sequences for the detection of lung cancer.
