CEBU CITY, May 21 Asia Pulse - To achieve maximum productivity and profitability, the fashion accessories industry aims to develop human resources management and marketing efforts.
The sector has come up with several strategies to cluster support sectors such as raw material suppliers and subcontractors.
Raw materials include wood, shell, stone, fiber, metal alloys, leather, resin, glue paints and lacquers.
Although the volume of fashion accessories exported last year only rose slightly compared to 1999 figures, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) still sees the industry's potential for growth and profitability.
