For an active and growing teenager, the condition seemed normal, especially as it continued without incident.
Meghan Taylor had been having heart palpitations over the course of two years. As the Batavia sophomore described what she had been feeling in the weeks before her indoor track physical at the University of Illinois-Chicago Hospital early this year, her nurse- practitioner became concerned that something was different.
