THIS article looks at trading with four North African countries: Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia. It concentrates on one particular aspect of trading dispute resolution.
Most trading contracts are completed with out any particular difficulty and the parties are often able to resolve problems when and if they arise.
Nevertheless, it is prudent to make provision in the trading contract for the resolution of disputes. In an international commercial contract, the obvious means of dealing with disputes isarbitration.
