GM COMPLETES DISTRIBUTION OF ANNUAL VACATION PAY
AND PAID ABSENCE ALLOWANCE
DETROIT, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- General Motors (NYSE: GM) announced today it has completed distribution of more than $323 million in annual vacation pay and paid absence allowance to approximately 145,000 U.S. hourly employees with seniority dates between Jan. 1 and June 30.
Of the total payment, $279 million was for vacation pay and $44 million was for paid absence allowance during the eligibility period.
