EL PASO PROPOSES MAJOR SYSTEM EXPANSION
TO MEET NATURAL GAS NEEDS IN CALIFORNIA
EL PASO, Texas, Aug. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- El Paso Natural Gas Company today filed an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for an optional expedited certificate to expand its interstate pipeline system by up to 600 million cubic feet a day, primarily "to meet both present and perceived natural gas needs in its principal market area of California."
