The latest stage in the revitalisation of the German wine market in the UK gets under way this month with a new ad campaign.

This is the second stage of an initiative which began last year under the banner `If you think you know German wine, drink again'.

The German Wine Information Service is spending 200,000 [pounds sterling] on cross-track posters in the London Underground and ads in the national newspapers' weekend magazines.

Nicky Forrest, director of the German Wine Information Service said: "The campaigns over the last two years have been designed to raise awareness.
