In less than four years practically all the international media centers arrived in Argentina. These companies specialise in buying advertising space in television, radio stations and newspapers for their customers. This arrival affected the advertising agencies business. The first firm which started operating in the country was Initiative Media in 1997, and Starcom, the branch of Bcom3 was the latest to arrive. The only company with a 100% national capital which survived in the market is Anunciar. Zenithmedia's local branch started operating over a year ago and it had a turnover of US$20mil in 2000 hoping to reach 45mil this year. Media ...
