Weyerhaeuser (NYSE:WY) has named two senior North Carolina business managers to lead the company's External Affairs Council in the state.
Appointed were Mike Edwards as chairman of the council and Wally Permenter as vice-chairman. Steven R. Rogel, Weyerhaeuser chairman, president and chief executive officer made the formal announcement in April.
Edwards is vice president / general manager of Weyerhaeuser's large Pulp, Paper and Packaging manufacturing facility at Plymouth. Permenter is North Carolina lumber operations manager, overseeing the performance of the company's ...
