Rep. Bill Young (R-Fla.) and Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), chairmen of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees, are scheduled to meet at the White House today with President Bush to discuss appropriations matters, including an upcoming supplemental.
The schedule of White House submittal of a budget amendment to the FY '02 defense budget request is likely to come up during the meeting.
