NAA member Avalon Bay Communities Inc. announced that it broke ground on a high-rise luxury apartment community on the Queens West Waterfront in New York. Avalon Riverview will initially feature one building with 372 apartment homes and a 130-car parking garage. Ultimately, the development may include as many as three buildings. Avalon Riverview residents can experience Manhattan's cosmopolitan culture in only minutes.
