WASHINGTON -- The World Bank today approved a single-tranche US$404.04 million Programmatic Financial Sector Adjustment Loan and a US$8.8 million Fiscal and Financial Management Technical Assistance Loan to Brazil. The two loans are part of the Bank's 2000-2002 assistance program for Brazil, whose progress report was also presented to the Board of Directors today.
