What about the iMac Special Edition merits the description "special"? Partly, the contents of the sleek case: Component-wise, the Special Edition is the most pumped-up iMac yet. But it's the case itself- available in several eye-catching (some might say garish) hues and patterns-that truly sets Apple's latest iMac apart.
The Special Edition is one of three new iMac configurations. The $899 low-end iMac, available in indigo only, ships with a 400MHz G3, 64MB of RAM, a 10GB hard drive, and a CD-ROM drive.
