NEW ORLEANS _ Ole Miss forced extra innings with a clutch two-out hit in the ninth.
The Rebels couldn't duplicate the feat in the 10th and it cost them a 5-4 loss to Oklahoma State on Friday before a crowd of 3,113 at Turchin Stadium on the Tulane campus.
"They just did a few more things than we did,'' Rebels coach Mike Bianco said. "They got some big hits.'' Ole Miss (38-22-1) got the tying run to third with one out in the 10th, but the rally ended when Craig Nugen didn't get his bat off the shoulder on a tight breaking ball from Daniel Rew.
