SAN JOSE, Calif. _ Before its Sunday night match against the CyberRays, the Atlanta Beat had four shutouts in five Women's United Soccer Association matches. Make that five shutouts in six games.
The Beat (3-0-3, 12 points), the only undefeated club in the first-year eight-team league, limited the reeling CyberRays (1-4-1, 4) to 11 total shots and two shots on goal in a 1-0 win in front of an announced crowd of 7,293 at Spartan Stadium.
