Exceptional Individuals (also issued as Journal of Career Development, vol 13, no. 4, Summer 1987) This special issue is a compilation of papers presented at a conference on career development for special populations. The authors include school counselors, parents, and vocational-technical and special educators. Any individuals working in transitional services would find the general discussion of interest. Topics include the need to expand services for teenagers and young adults and to ensure that school-based services are designed to facilitate the transition of the student to jobs and adult functions in the community.
