May 29--TAOS CHEF PLANS SANTA FE VENTURE: Taos has in Joseph's Table one of its best restaurants, gourmets and foodies agree, and now owner Joseph Wrede is planning to open Joseph's Plate in a Santa Fe location formerly occupied by Espiritu Canyon Road.
The new restaurant, with seating for 45 inside and 20 outside, is expected to open in late June or early July.
"I feel kind of fortunate," Wrede said. "It's nice to have both of those environments going on at the same time. It should be very exciting."
