Responding to activists who say South Park Street needs a makeover, residents, business owners, city and town officials and UW-Madison representatives have banded together to overhaul the area's image.

Calling their effort the Park Street Revitalization Project, the group has worked over the past several months with urban planners and people who live or work in the area to brainstorm ways to improve the corridor.
