PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Agreements covering the construction of 2 key components associated with the Barka power and desalination plant, which was recently awarded to AES BARKA, a subsidiary of U.S.-based AES CORP., are soon expected to be concluded. The undertaking in question involves the installation of a gas-fired power station with an installed generating capacity of 427 Mw. It will also
comprise a 20 million gallon per day desalination facility.
As a result, KEC INTERNATIONAL of India is currently gearing-up to build a 220/132 Kv electrical transmission system which will link the upcoming Barka power station to the northern power grid. The ...
