Sensor Products has introduced Super Pressurex, a tactile force-indicating sensor that "evolved" from the company's benchmark Pressurex film technology, and is reportedly 50% more accurate. Like its predecessor, Super Pressurex is used to assess compression magnitude and distribution between any two mating or impacting surfaces "with much greater accuracy than standard indicating films," Sensor Products says. Applications are said to abound for both manufacturing process control and machine/component inspection and calibration.
