Cosmetics giant L'Oreal Group is gearing up for a major data-capture exercise on the back of the relaunch of its anti-ageing brand Revitalift, to learn more about its older customers.

Around 230,000 known skincare users aged between 41 and 59 are being sent mailpacks, which include sample sachets and money-off vouchers as well as a questionnaire on buying habits and spending patterns.

The mailing is part of a fully integrated campaign involving TV ads and press activity.
