Aspen Technology, Inc., of Cambridge, Mass., announces that it has acquired the assets of e-Chemicals, former e-marketplace for the chemicals industry. Aspen says the acquisition will enable it to embed e-Chemicals' technology for online sales and procurement into its own Aspen Marketplace solution, allowing customers to create private trading networks.
Cincinnati-based Hunkar Laboratories announces that it has acquired TriData Technologies, an integrator/supplier of barcode product tracking systems and related equipment. TriData is also based in Cincinnati.
