A losing proposition
Should the Red Sox trade for David Wells? Sure why not? They already have "Crazy Carl." While they are at it, why don't they hire Jerry Springer to be their physiologist?
David Wells is a great pitcher when a team is in contention, but the Red Sox already have four consistent starters, two more waiting in the minors and a clubhouse that already is on the edge. Why mess with such a delicate thing?
