NORTH YORK, Ontario --As Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) prepares to operate under a new chief executive officer for the first time in nearly 20 years, two questions are swirling around the Canadian drug chain: Who will succeed David Bloom as chairman and chief executive officer, and will that person be able to sustain the corporate spirit that has delivered almost two decades of profitable growth?
