DALLAS -- Gap Inc. is saddling up for a move to New Mexico.
The $13.6 billion retailer confirmed to WWD on Tuesday that it plans to move part of its corporate headquarters from San Francisco to Albuquerque in August.
Gap has leased 160,000 square feet of office space in the First Plaza office center, at Third and Tijeras Streets, in Albuquerque.
The move there will involve about 300 positions at management and nonmanagement levels, including accounts payable, inventory management services, payroll, revenue accounting, letters of credit, cash management, property tax-business licenses and human resources administration.
