LONDON -- Hussein Chalayan has a new financial deal.
The British designer Friday announced the signing of a worldwide license with Gibo Co. SpA, beginning with the spring 2002 season. Under the agreement, Gibo will produce and distribute Chalayan's ready-to-wear line for global markets.
In addition, Gibo will manufacture Chalayan's fall 2001 collection under an agreement separate from the licensing deal.
