Our ever-intrusive government is now getting involved in professional sports. The Supreme Court recently required the PGA to change its rule that restricts the use of golf carts in order to accommodate a player who has trouble walking.
What's next: vertically impaired people permitted to wear stilts so they can play in the NBA? If a visually impaired person wants to race in the Indy 500, should the other drivers be required to wear their helmets backward? This could turn the race into a demolition derby, especially if another driver would have the disability of alcoholism. Then all of the other drivers would have to get liquored up before the race, just to make ...
