Borders Group, Inc. Vice Chairman Bruce Quinnell will retire as an executive officer of the company effective at the close of Borders Group's fiscal year, which ends Jan. 27, 2002. Quinnell plans to relocate to Dallas to rejoin family and work on a limited basis as a top-level executive advisor to venture capital backed, fledgling retail and technology companies.
